What is it about?
The story flip between the past and present as it follows a reclusive man who learns to find hope in a post apocalyptic world alongside his robo-buddy, OMSA.
What is the 48 Hour Film Project?
The 48HFP is the world's largest and most participated in film competition. Teams all across the world are challenged to create a complete film in just 48 hours. Every team must draw a genre from a hat, and then include three required elements: a line, a character name, and a prop. Then you have just 48 hours to write, shoot, and edit everything! It is a really great filmmaking challenge and I recommend it to any budding filmmakers out there! I have participated in the Los Angeles 48 Hour Film Project several times in the past with some really incredible teams backing me up, but this time I wanted to see what I could do all on my own, and ISOLATION is the result! A film written, shot, and edited all in 48 hours completely by myself!

Hot as s***
It was 107 outside while I was filmming, which was less than ideal. But I left my car running with the A/C on and would jump in there to cool down after every scene.

No one relying on me
I work best when other people are counting on me and I have to finish for them, but when it was just me holding myself accountable, it gets a lot harder to stay motivated. Glad I did!

Proving myself
I have done a lot of solo shoots in the past but never at this level, and it was very rewarding to see it all come together the way I saw it in my head.

Stepping stone to the future
I am hoping to use this as proof to future investors that I know what I am doing as a filmmaker, not just a director.
Where can I watch it?
Unfortunately the film is not public at the moment as it is moving through the film festival circuit and many of them require the film to not be posted anywhere. Hopefully I will be releasing it publicly early 2027!

What do you shoot on?I own an operate a Sony FX6 package with a prime lens kit, but I can use any camera.

Can you use a steadicam?Yes! I am very skilled flying a steadicam, and can even use mine while riding my onewheel for buttery smooth running shots.

Do you own your own gear or rent?I own my camera and lenses, along with a midtier wireless package, audio kit, and a few lights. I can manage most small sets with my equipment, but for larger productions I rent the gear I need.

Are you open for work?Sort of... I am currently focused on my personal projects, but am always willing to talk about new projects and jump on board if the fit is right!

What is next for you?I have been doing all this for one goal: create movies that make people feel something deep. My next project is my first feature film called TALES FROM RIVUUS.
