synopsis

RIVUUS is a sci-fi adventure film set halfway across the galaxy in the (very) distant future. The story follows Ren, a reclusive scavenger, and ASMO, her sarcastic robo-buddy, who are forced to team up with Jax, the clone of an ancient pirate king, to travel across their dying world in search of hope.

why this story?

this project is the culmination of everything I love about movies and stories all wrapped up into one epic adventure! The story centers around pain, loneliness, and learning to find hope in a chaotic universe. A message I think is desperately needed.

Why am i the right person to tell this story?

I am a storyteller and film is my medium. I believe stories are one of the best ways we understand our universe, and connect to one another. I have been slowly building to world of Rivuus, they story, and my characters for the last four years, and now, With my first full 120 page draft completed, I am searching for the right people to help me bring this story to life and spread a message of hope and humanity.

What happens next?

I know some of the most talented and creative people you will ever meet, and cannot wait to make something really special with them, the only thing I need to make that happen, is money. we are in the golden era of independent filmmaking, audiences are hungry for original, meaningful stories, and despite what streaming CEOs want us to think, movie theaters are more popular than ever. Now is the time.
